Vice President, Corporate Planning & Finance Director

Roberto is a senior finance and corporate planning executive with more than two decades of international leadership experience across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. In his role as Vice President, Corporate Planning & Finance Director, he reports directly to the CEO and Board of Directors and serves as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CEO, President, and COO. His responsibilities span corporate planning, FP&A, controllership, accounting, financial reporting, and sales-performance management for a $200 million business.

Roberto leads the company’s annual sales-target-setting process, translating corporate revenue and margin objectives into rep-level, business-segment, and product-category quotas. He also designs and maintains the KPI framework used to evaluate sales-force performance and has led the development and implementation of an online performance dashboard that provides management with real-time visibility into results across the business segment. By integrating financial and operating data, he provides executive leadership with actionable insights and recommendations related to margin, pricing, resource allocation, and overall business performance.

A strong advocate for innovation, Roberto champions the adoption of artificial intelligence within corporate planning and sales operations, leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance sales forecasting, demand planning, and performance-variance analysis. His leadership combines financial discipline with technology-enabled insights to improve forecasting accuracy, accelerate decision-making, and support sustainable growth.

Throughout his career, Roberto has held senior finance leadership roles with Advanced Media Technologies, Fresenius Medical Care, Manuchar, and UnitedHealth Group, complemented by Big Four experience at KPMG. Across these organizations, he has developed and implemented financial strategies that enhanced liquidity, optimized costs, strengthened financial controls, and supported sustainable long-term growth. Roberto is an accomplished leader with extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams and aligning financial strategy with operational objectives.

Roberto holds an Executive MBA from Florida Atlantic University, a Postgraduate degree in General Business Studies with a concentration in Finance from UCLA, and a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is also a third-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, demonstrating the discipline, perseverance, and commitment to continuous improvement that he brings to his professional leadership.
