2024 AMT Pro Services Internal Points

We made it a better experience for the operator to purchase AND deploy a new technology.

  • A lot of the requests we have traditionally seen in the past, that are still common and relevant today, are either centered around deploying a new offering/technology or helping to fix and maintain an existing system.  However, the common theme of the requests is driven by a lack of onsite staff to complete the effort or a lack of knowledge of a new product or solution.

    Staffing challenges continue to be a big struggle for smaller operators, and we try to solve a big part of the problem for them. That will only continue to grow as Bead initiatives pick up steam later this year and into 2025.  We are looking to continue to train our existing staff to stay relevant as well as strengthen our partnerships with our vendors.  A big part of our goal with these partnerships is to be able to share the technical knowledge not just with our internal staff but with our customers.  The more we can strengthen the customers’ skillset the better prepared they will be to weather any staffing hiccups.

  • Our current team is professional, friendly staff who are considered technical SMEs in their respective disciplines that look to make sure we truly listen to the customer’s expectation to evaluate that the end deliverable will meet that and there isn’t a buzzword technology that doesn’t match what they feel they are getting.  We always strive to exceed that expectation.

    We team up early in the presales phase with the account rep to not only get to know the details about the opportunity but to understand the customer driver for the overall initial reason for that first call.  Trying to get to know who the customer is and understanding their strategy is just as important as the ultimate product recommendation.  There is a lot we can point out or call attention to before any onsite integration ever occurs reducing and mitigating any risks by being invested so early in the cycle.  Beginning a project successfully is just as critical as ending a project successfully.

    Our goal is to be deliverable-driven and not revenue-driven.  Although making money is part of the business, we never let that determine doing what is right when it comes to our deployments or support. The team is very passionate about doing it right no matter what!  We do that not only with our internal staff, but we expect the same from our contractor pool that we have established relationships with in the last 5 to 10 years.  This is a two-way expectation, we outwardly expect to exceed our customer deliverables and we also internally expect our deployment resources to strive for that same level of quality product, regardless of whether it falls in design services, product solutions, or deployment services.

    We also are driven to make sure members are comfortable with deployed services and aren’t scared to touch it after we leave.  And with that, we aren’t a group that walks away once a signoff has occurred.  We still have discussions with customers that we deployed service for years ago regularly.  We want the members to always have a feeling that they can reach out to us for any reason well after we leave their system.
